The Butt Lift That Squats Can’t Get You

There are two common approaches to improving the appearance and contour of your buttocks. Undergoing a series of buttock exercises such as squats and a cosmetic procedure known as a Brazilian Butt Lift. While squats are helpful, they focus more on muscle tone rather than appearance. Squats also can increase the size of your legs, which may be an unintended consequence of a harsh squat regimen.  Brazilian butt lift procedures give targeted results that create a larger, curvier look that won’t be achieved via exercise.

A Brazilian Butt Lift procedure uses liposuction to enhance curvature. This contours the lower part of the buttocks and gives you an aesthetic look you desire. This procedure is different from butt implants in that it works with your own fat from your body. Typically this is a safe procedure, but as with any procedure there are risks. As long as you follow any pre and/or post operation instructions your recovery should be smooth and will give way to maximum results.

Just like with squats, a healthy lifestyle will be needed to maintain the results of the procedure. Squats are definitely a help to improving the look of your buttocks, but a Brazilian Butt Lift will enhance those results. Squats and other exercises will give your buttocks a more muscular appearance and firmer tone, while a Brazilian Butt Lift can increase the size and shape, giving you the “pop” you may desire. However, since this procedure uses fat from your own body, the results can be altered with weight gain or loss; the fat cells move to the buttocks will remain there from that point on.

As with any procedures, it is important to have an informed conversation with your surgeon. An ideal candidate is within 15 pounds of their target weight.
